Metro Remittance Singapore Pte., Ltd. (MRSPL) was incorporated under the Companies Act (CAP 50) of Singapore on April 30, 2004. MRSPL is a wholly owned subsidiary of Metropolitan Bank and Trust Company, one of the largest banks in the Philippines.

MRSPL commenced operations in November 2004 after it was granted a license by Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to operate as a money transmitter and money changer. The company offers money transmission services to Filipinos and other nationalities in Singapore who want to remit funds to the Philippines.

It aims to provide remitters with low cost and yet reliable money transfer services using its fully integrated Remittance System.

PROMOTIONS

   GET 3 for 2

“Avail 3 services for the price of 2”.

Mechanics:

  • Client must have three transactions to qualify for the promotion
  • These transactions are the following:

THREE (3) for TWO (2):

  • MBTC (SGD4) + SSS (SGD3) + PAGIBIG or PHILHEALTH (SGD0)
  • OTHER BANKS (SGD4) + SSS (SGD3) + PAGIBIG or PHILHEALTH (SGD0)
  • CASH PICK UP ANYWHERE (SGD4.50) + SSS (SGD3) + PAGIBIG or PHILHEALTH (SGD0)

*Note: SSS, PAGIBIG and PHILHEALTH can be interchanged.

  • Discount is only applicable with regular remittance transaction
  • Remittance teller attaches the three (3) transactions together and this is countersigned by the officer
  • Valid from January - December 31, 2018
  • Promotion is not valid in conjunction with other promotions, discounts or vouchers

   OFW ACCOUNT   

    “Remit and open an OFW Account for their beneficiaries in the Philippines with “NO INITIAL DEPOSIT, NO MAINTAINING BALANCE and NO INITIAL CHARGE”.

Mechanics:

  • The client (non or existing MRSPL) must have his/her initial remittance with us. Once processed, the beneficiary will be asked to visit the assigned branch to claim his/her METROBANK OFW Account
  • Initial transaction is FREE OF CHARGE
  • OFW Account is only issued once under the beneficiary's name or under client’s name but they can only do this if they are travelling back to the Philippines
  • The remittance transaction will be countersigned by the Operations Officer on duty

   143 PROMO

 “Gets 1 sgd off for the client/s 4th remittance by showing 3 receipts”.

Mechanics:

  • Client\s must present three (3) remittance receipts to avail of the promo (1SGD off)
  • Only receipts transacted in 2018 is accepted
  • Discount is only applicable for any SGD4 - SGD4.50 service fees
  • Receipts presented must be surrendered to the teller
  • Teller will attach three (3) receipts to the fourth (4th) transaction and must be countersigned by the Operations Officer
